Speen Festival is achieved by the creativity and enthusiasm of the local community; we are back for 2019, are you? Auditions for Peter Pan are underway with a cast of almost 40 local children and adults jumping on-board to bring you our showcase community theatre event.
Event organisers are planning their events, some you will recognise, others are new and still being formed. And once again this year, there are exciting opportunities for local businesses to get involved by sponsoring or by advertising in our various cross-event media; learn more here.
The first Speen Festival run in 2001 was based on a festival founded by villagers Martin and Marjorie Stockley in 1999 to celebrate the passing of the Millennium. It is testament to our little village that we have continued to produce our celebration of local musical, artistic, theatrical and outdoor talent every other year.

Aston Hearing are delighted to sponsor Speen Festival 2019. This will be our 3rd year of sponsorship and each year we are blown away by this incredible two-week event. We are particularly excited as 2019 is our 30th Anniversary and as a result Speen Festival will sit right in the middle of our celebratory year. Speen Festival is such a celebration of local talent and community, we genuinely cannot think of a better way of honouring our 30 years of business in the heart of the beautiful Chiltern Hills. We will, over the next few months, be working closely with Cat Cook and the organising committee to see how we can best support the festival and this will include plans for an exciting family fun-day and a celebratory evening event on Sunday 8th September – we hope many of you will be able to join us.
