Creation Station

We would start the session with my magic box of ideas and the children would learn the magic words to make it open. I will have my large colourful parachute inside the box and we will have some fun practising colours with a game. Identifying basics for younger children and colour mixing for older children. We will then get some paints out and finger print a rainbow (again we will practice colour mixing to keep some learning in there and make it extra fun). I provide painting overalls and clean up cloths for the children. We would then go on to make a lovely rainbow festival kite using pens, dabbers and lots of streamers. They can then have fun flying these outside, which should add a lovely visual to the event.
