He is known for usong his comedy to sift through serious subjects in the friendliestand funniest manner possible and is a sought after compere. In the last few years Tiernan has been a regular support act for Frankie Boyle as well as writing on his BBC2 series New World Order. Tiernan writes and hosts the Partly Political Broadcast which was one of the Guardian's Top Ten Political Podcasts of 2018
