Back for a third successful time, Questions Worth Asking is a celebration of surprising stories told by people who live right on your doorstep. With each speaker framing a personal story around a “question worth asking”,  discover how events in their lives have shaped who they are and how their experience might change our own view of the world.

This year’s lineup:

Channel 4 boss Jo Allan asks “Why does Channel 4 matter?”

Smallholder Charlotte Downing asks “When’s the best time to plant a tree?”

Stroke sufferer David Slade asks “Why do I look at life differently after suffering a stroke?”

25-year-old Ruth Spurr asks “What do you do when your full-time job is coping with a life-threatening illness?”

The Chapel Hill Kitchen’s Kate Vale asks “How do we value the invisible?”

Laura Vale, recently back from the Middle East, asks “How do we move forward with the Israeli-Palestinean conflict?”

Hosted by Jem Symondson and produced by Ian Warr.
