Wildlife Watch and Barbeque
4-5pm SCAVENGER HUNT on the playing field including the GREAT BUG HUNT - see mini beasts as you've never seen them before, up close and MAGNIFIED in the Rangers' special viewers.
5.30pm BAT BOX BUILDING AND BARBEQUE. Build a bat nesting box - you can take it home (for 2 pounds to cover materials) or we'll put it up in the local woods. Burgers and hotdogs for sale to hungry hunters.
6.45 BAT TALK BY THE WYCOMBE RANGERS, followed by a bat-walk as dusk falls. Listen out for bats hunting their prey with special detectors.
The evening's events will be over by 8.30pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
