Music For a Summer's Evening:

 Soiree at the Chapel

 Let us Garlands bring  


A candle-lit recital of beautiful music to celebrate Shakespeare inSpeen Chapel
 the picturesque setting of Speen's Baptist Chapel. The concert featurec the renowned singer, Geraldine Rowe and Pianist, Jeremy Rowe  presenting songs from Shakespeare's plays such as As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing and Twelfth  Night and also provides a fascinating commentary on the songs between performances.

After the performance friends met and enjoyed refreshments in this lovely historic building.  

 Geraldine Rowe
 Geraldine is a mezzo soprano who studies with Johanna Bryne. She has performed as a soloist with among others the Chancery Singers, Harlow Chorus, Royston Choral Society and the High Wycombe Choral Society in addition to solo recitals at St Martins -in -the -Field, London and the 2001 world premiere of Kyrie by Humphrey Clucas at Christchurch Cathedral, Oxford.  

Jeremy Rowe
Jeremy was trained at St Paul's School, London and later won an organ scholarship to Pembroke College, Cambridge.  He was organist and director of music at St Mary-at -Latton, Harlow and now plays at All Saints, Marlow and at organ recitals at Marlow and Wycombe Festival.
