The science discussion evening attracted an audience of nearly 80 people providing for a very lively atmosphereThe panel of scientists answered many and varied questions and debated with the audience issues as diverse as swine flu, MRSA in hospitals, GM food, healthy diets, climate change, alternative energy technologies and how we can improve the communication of scientific ideas. Such was the enthusiasm during the evening that a regular science event is currently being mooted.
