Taking Part
Speen Festival is nothing without its heart and soul - in other words it's nothing without you! And of course, where would the Festival be without its Stars? We'd like those Stars to be many and varied: whatever your age, ability, height, wealth and interests, we'd like you to take part! This might involve dusting down your bike for the Speen Bike Challenge, or attending one of the events offered by SpeenFest Interactive! (watch notice boards and website for workshops and opportunities coming shortly).

For very little expendable effort you can take part in making Speen become vocal at the Speen Big Sing! when we aim to make local history with the biggest songfest the Playing Field has experienced.

And finally, with considerably more effort, you too can become part of the fantastic, local, all-comers cast of actors, singers and dancers for the ever-popular Community Theatre production and the final Cabaret Supper. Helping Out
To make sure Speen Festival 2009 continues in the spirit of previous festivals, we also need a willing team of volunteers. Believe me, with over 15 events packed into 10 days, we can find you a great fun job. Just let us know whether you fancy something on-stage, back-stage, front of stage, or would just like to lend a helping hand.

To give you an idea of some of the roles available, we are looking for two additional Team Players to support the highly organised Festival Logistics team. It's a comradely bunch who combine fun with military precision to ensure every event is perfectly stage-managed from the tables and chairs to staging and electrics, not forgetting signage and car parking.
