About 40 local youngsters took part in the second Bike Park Challenge with ages ranging from 7 to 17. Having registered and had their bikes checked at the Pitstop the competitors were divided into five groups to compete on the various challenges. As well as time trials on the main track we had the popular Slow Bike Race again, the Water Bucket Challenge and a new T.T. Race involving bikes and the Trim Trail together with the usual BBQ. Congratulations to the three group winners; the Sharp brothers from Lacey Green, Charlie Putnam and Jamie Thompson. Dan Ridgley would have been thrilled to see so many local youngsters enjoying his field on a sunny afternoon.
